Experience the Difference with Raptors Lacrosse: Empowering Girls in Castle Rock and Surrounding Areas
Looking for an exceptional lacrosse experience for your daughter? Look no further than Raptors Lacrosse, where we promise to deliver a better all-around experience for young girls in Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and the surrounding areas.
Our program is designed to cater to girls of all skill levels and experience, ensuring each participant feels included and supported. As a feeder program for Rock Canyon High School, Douglas County, and Castle View High Schools, we pride ourselves on preparing our players for the next level of competition.
At Raptors Girls Lacrosse, we go above and beyond for our players. Our recreational league is more than just a place to play lacrosse – it's a community that fosters growth, learning, and development. Our dedicated coaches provide top-notch instruction, matriculating the lacrosse skills of each participant. But that's not all; we also place a strong emphasis on fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship.
We believe in being more than just a lacrosse program. Our goal is to be a positive influence in the lives of our players, instilling valuable qualities that extend beyond the field. Through their experiences with Raptors Girls Lacrosse, each player will develop leadership, sportsmanship, and courage – attributes that will shape their character and resonate throughout their lives.
Join us at Raptors Lacrosse and allow your daughter to thrive both on and off the field. Together, let's build a generation of strong, confident, and empowered young girls.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my daughter need to wear a helmet?
Raptors Girls Lacrosse STRONGLY recommends that girls in grades K-8th to wear the Cascade LX lacrosse helmet. The LX is the only helmet you can wear in the field unless you are a goalie. You can purchase one at a discounted price in the Spring registration and contact ryan@raptorsathletics.org if you want one before the Spring season.

Spring 2025 Hatchlings K-1st
Hatchlings is our beginner girls lacrosse program. It is 4v4 on a small field with no goalies. This program is fantastic and has helped to grow our Raptors girls' lacrosse program. The coaches can be on the field with their team and the referee. Hatchlings allow the girls to learn the lines, whistles, and how to use their sticks. It has made the transition to half-field lacrosse much better for our Raptors players. Last year, as a board member of the AYL, I got the 4v4 as sanctioned AYL division in Girls Lacrosse.
*We only require that your daughter buys a jersey for Hatchlings, but most do buy the shorts and/or kilt.
**We do not allow playdowns in the AYL, but if your daughter is in second grade and you would like to try Hatchlings instead of the 8v8 half-field, please reach out to me so we can discuss options.
